About Us
Moore Goats is a family-owned business run by Cassie and Daniel Moore. We’ve both been surrounded by animals our entire lives, getting our start in the livestock world through showing horses, raising cattle, and even breeding coon dogs. Those early experiences taught us the value of hard work, dedication, and a deep respect for the animals we care for. Today, we carry that same passion into raising quality goats, combining our lifelong knowledge of livestock with a genuine love for what we do
Our Start in Dairy Goats
We began our dairy goat journey in 2024, driven by hard work, dedication, and a clear vision of what we wanted to achieve. Our beloved grandson, Levi, first introduced us to the world of dairy goats, and from that moment on, we never looked back. What started as a simple introduction quickly grew into a passion one that continues to inspire us every day.
Our Goal
Our goal is to breed a better goat. With each breeding, we strive to improve, working toward the ultimate goal of becoming competitive on a national level. We are committed to producing animals that excel not only in conformation, but also in milk production and linear appraisal
Cae Negitive Herd
Through annual testing, we have maintained a CAE-negative herd. This status is very important to us, and we are committed to preserving it by raising our kids on a strict CAE prevention program.
